THE GIFT OF THIS MOMENT
Each morning as I watch two young ladies arise to meet their day, with such varying ideas and styles, I am reminded of what a gift this “moment in time” is for each of us. Now that may not be what you are hearing in the world around you. Yet we have been gifted with this time in our lives, whatever it may look like. And through the beliefs we choose to hold in our consciousness, we will determine what shape and form it all takes. What a gift. Today you get to choose. Today, I get to choose. And we get to walk this journey together.
Sometimes in our lives, we do not want this “moment in time” that is in front of us. There are tough decisions, we fall into fear…we just don’t want to walk through what is before us. This is the moment in time we call a “choice point.” Spirit is calling us to live in faith, to choose each moment to know that God never gets us “to” something that God can’t get us “through.” Along with faith, we go to prayer. We make every thought a conscious prayer. The next ingredient is simply time. Time in rest, time in prayer, time to allow God to move through us. We lift our consciousness to the highest place we know and allow it to rest…in love.
In the next two months, we will be taking the Sacred Journey ofrising up, of Easter. It is the hero’s journey of rising in consciousness to a higher state of knowing and loving. And we get to do this together. In this life’s journey I hold for each of us the ability to come to each day in our lives with love, simple love for this day, for the sacred journey we are on, and for the realization that we have come to enjoy the journey together…a journey of love. Each of us has been called by name, and we have been given everything we need for this journey. Now is the time, love is the way.
